This document applies to the cultivation of Langshan navel oranges. Main Technical Content: 3. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Langshan Navel Orange Langshan navel oranges refer to early- and medium-maturity navel oranges grown in Ningning County, with a longitude of 110°18’ to 110°28’ and a latitude of 26°15’ to 26°50’. The main varieties include Langfeng navel oranges, Newhall navel oranges, Calabacita red-flesh navel oranges, and Fuben navel oranges. The soluble solids content should be ≥11.5%, and the oranges should exhibit unique quality characteristics such as "orange-red color, smooth surface, rich flavor, fragrance, and good storage". 3.2 Virus-Free Grafted Seedlings Virus-free grafted seedlings refer to citrus grafted seedlings cultivated from virus-free scions and virus-free rootstocks. 4. Site Selection For flat land and slopes with a slope of less than 6°, plant in a north-south direction using a rectangular planting pattern. For hills and mountains with a slope of 6° to 30°, use terrace planting, and for horizontal slopes, apply a gradient of 3‰ to 5‰. Build necessary facilities such as roads, irrigation systems, and sedimentation basins. In areas prone to wind damage, establish windbreaks. 5.
