GB/T 4988-2016 Electric products for ships and offshore units—Ratings of frequency,voltage and current

Scope

This standard specifies the rated frequency, rated voltage, and rated current values for electrical products used on ships and offshore installations. This standard applies to electrical products on ships and offshore installations (both mobile and fixed). These electrical products include reliable fixed and permanent connections for power supply, lighting, electric heating, and cooking equipment; external power supply devices for automatic control systems and communication and navigation equipment; electrical instruments; mobile power tools and mobile lighting devices and equipment operating under safe voltage. This standard does not apply to the following situations: a) dedicated power supply within the equipment and devices and components connected to these power supplies; b) thermal elements of thermal relays and fuse bodies of fuses (for rated current parameters); c) excitation equipment of generators; d) specialized equipment and cables, etc.
