Scope
This standard specifies the types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of large submersible turbine pumps with planetary gear reducers (hereinafter referred to as electric pumps). This standard applies to electric pumps that transport clean water or mildly contaminated water with a flow range of 8 m 3 /s to 25 m 3 /s, a head generally not exceeding 5 m, a power range of 315 kW to 1,250 kW, and a voltage of 6,000 V or 10,000 V. The electric pump also includes inlet and outlet water channels.
