Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, storage, etc. for moistureproof agents for nitro-based coatings.
This standard applies to moistureproof agents for nitro-based coatings, which are made from a mixture of organic solvents such as esters, alcohols, and ketones with high boiling points and slow evaporation rates. When used in conjunction with nitro-based coating diluents, these moistureproof agents can be applied in environments with high humidity to prevent nitro-based coatings from turning white.
