Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, rated values, materials, general requirements, requirements and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of installation couplers.
This standard applies to installation couplers with a rated voltage not exceeding AC440V, a rated current not exceeding 32A, and connecting wires of 3 to 5 cores for indoor permanent connections using copper wires of 6 mm2 or less.
This standard is suitable for use in residential buildings, such as raised floors, hollow wall panels, or suspended ceilings. It can also be used in prefabricated mobile homes, various hollow wall panels, double floors, double ceiling cable trays, cable duct systems, commercial exhibition halls, office partitions, partition walls, and household furniture specified in GB 16895.29.
