Basic Information

Standard Code: GB/T 7463-2008
Standard Type: National standards
Standard Status: Active
is_force_gb: no
CCS Name: Basic standards and general methods for surfactants
ICS Name: Surfactants and other auxiliary agents
Publish Date: 2008-05-28
Implement Date: 2008-12-01
Pages: 7 pages

Scope

This standard specifies an acid titration method to determine the minimum amount of dispersant (surfactant, hereinafter the same) required to completely disperse at least 95% of calcium soap for 1 hour. Note: This method can also provide data on the amount of partially dispersed calcium soap due to insufficient dispersant. This standard is applicable to all types of surfactants, as long as these surfactants do not interfere with the acid titration of calcium soap. However, no alkaline inorganic salts, such as phosphates, carbonates, and silicates, should be present.
