Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring 226Ra in rock samples by the gamma-ray spectrometry method.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of 226Ra in rock samples and soil samples. After appropriate decomposition and radium enrichment, it can also be used for reference in biological samples and other solid samples.
