Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for donkeys, the terms and definitions for the production of frozen semen, the cleaning and disinfection of equipment, the preparation of centrifugal fluid and dilution fluid, semen collection, semen processing, semen freezing, thawing of frozen semen, inspection and testing rules for the viability of frozen semen, packaging, storage, and transportation. This standard applies to the production of frozen semen from Texas donkeys. The production of frozen semen from donkeys of other breeds can be implemented with reference to this standard.
