Scope

This document specifies the types of low-efficiency bamboo forests in medium and small diameter and the evaluation criteria, as well as the general requirements and methods for rejuvenation and transformation technologies. This document is applicable to the main medium and small diameter bamboo species in Sichuan (see Appendix A), such as Cibotus bambusoides, Xiaoshun bamboo, Baijia bamboo, and Fang bamboo, but it is not suitable for large diameter bamboo species such as Phyllostachys edulis and Phyllostachys pubescens.
