Scope
This standard specifies the design basis, determination of pile leg types, design methods, and design verification for the pile leg structures of self-elevating drilling platforms (hereinafter referred to as "platforms").
This standard applies to the structural design of truss-type triangular pile legs for self-elevating drilling platforms. The pile leg structure design of other types of self-elevating drilling platforms can be used as a reference.
