Scope

This standard applies to the environmental impact assessment of land-based fixed nuclear power plants (with an electrical power output of more than 300 MW) in the People's Republic of China, and other nuclear power plants may refer to it for implementation. From the date of implementation of this standard, the "Guidelines for Environmental Protection and Management of Nuclear Facilities — Content and Format of the Environmental Impact Report for Nuclear Power Plants" (NEPA-RG1, 1988) shall cease to be implemented.
