Scope

This standard specifies the management of registration marks for ivory and ivory products, the management of registration information, and the requirements for the management and data use of the "China Ivory and Ivory Products Registration Management Database".
This standard applies to all designated processing and sales enterprises or units of ivory and ivory products within China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), as well as social groups and individuals who own and have registered various forms of raw ivory from African and Asian elephants and their semi-finished products in the "China Ivory and Ivory Products Registration Management Database". It also applies to the management of registration marks and registration information for artworks, handicrafts, daily necessities, and other products made from or containing these raw materials.
