Scope
This part of GB/T 17418 specifies the determination methods for platinum, palladium, and gold in geochemical samples.
This part is applicable to the determination of platinum, palladium, and gold in rocks containing platinum group elements, as well as the determination of geochemical samples such as aquatic sediments. It is not applicable to the determination of platinum, palladium, and gold in chromite ores. The determination range, expressed as mass fraction: platinum 0.2 ng/g~100 ng/g, palladium 1 ng/g~100 ng/g, gold 0.1 ng/g~100 ng/g.
