Scope
This standard is applicable to the determination of butyl xanthogenate in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, and industrial wastewater. This standard is not applicable to high-salt industrial wastewater with a salt content exceeding 25 g/L, as well as water samples containing substances such as zineb (manganese) pesticides or diethyldithiocarbamate (such as copper reagent). If butyl xanthogenate is detected in the water sample, other analytical methods may be used for further confirmation if necessary.
