Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions, brewing conditions, brewing methods and processes, and brewing parameters for West Lake Longjing tea. This document is applicable to the brewing of West Lake Longjing tea; Main technical content: 3. Terminology and definitions The terminology and definitions defined in GB/T 1115, as well as the following terms and definitions, are applicable to this document. 3.1 Marketing promotion brewing method A brewing method for marketing promotion, which highlights the quality characteristics of tea products and allows tea drinkers to fully perceive the color, aroma, taste, and flavor of tea through scientifically designed methods. 3.2 Daily life-friendly brewing method A brewing method designed for convenience and ease of use in daily life scenarios such as travel and home environments. Appropriate utensils are selected to simply and scientifically present the aroma and taste of tea. 3.3 Conference event-friendly brewing method A brewing method designed for convenience and speed in office reception and conference services, using suitable utensils to briefly present the aroma and taste of tea. 3.4 Tasting and appreciation brewing method A brewing method used for tea appreciation and sharing in professional tasting scenarios, fully showcasing the beauty of tea's form, color, aroma, and taste, while integrating thoughtfulness, artistry, and observability. 4. Environmental requirements The environment should be clean, tidy, and free from odors. The lighting should be soft and bright, without direct sunlight. 5. Brewing conditions 5.1 The water used for tea brewing should comply with the requirements of GB 19298 or GB 5749. 5.2 Ceramic utensils used for brewing should comply with the provisions of GB 4806.4, and glass utensils should comply with the provisions of GB 4806.5. A list of utensils used for different brewing methods is provided in Table A.1. 6. Brewing methods and processes
