It applies to apple production in the First Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. 2 Normative Reference Documents 3 Rootstock and Cultivar Selection According to soil conditions and climate characteristics, select rootstocks and cultivars suitable for local growth and cultivation. The rootstock should be Qingchun No.1, and the main cultivars include Ruixue, Qinque, Venus Gold, and Ruixiang Hong. The pollinating cultivars include Galad, Fuji, etc. The cultivars should be arranged in an early-mid-late ripening pattern, with the proportion of pollinating cultivars not exceeding 20% and a central planting pattern. 4 Site Selection and Planning 4.1 Climate Conditions The minimum winter temperature of the planting site should be ≥-25°C, with an annual sunshine duration of ≥1500 hours and air quality meeting the requirements of GB 3095-2012. 4.2 Soil Conditions The soil of the planting site should be a sandy loam with a deep soil layer, a pH value of <8.5, and an effective soil layer depth of ≥70cm. The soil should meet the requirements of GB 15618-2018, and the irrigation water quality should meet the requirements of GB 5084-2021. 4.3 Site Planning The site is divided into planting areas, office and agricultural machinery storage areas, orchard road systems, irrigation and drainage systems, and windbreak establishment.
