Scope
This document describes a method for determining the fiber content in a two-component mixture composed of meta-aromatic polyamide fibers and para-aromatic polyamide fibers after the removal of non-fiber substances, using the lithium chloride/N,N-dimethylacetamide method.
This document is applicable to two-component mixtures of meta-aromatic polyamide fibers and para-aromatic polyamide fibers.
Note: The method for identifying fibers in mixtures of meta-aromatic polyamide fibers and para-aromatic polyamide fibers is described in Appendix A.
