This document specifies the requirements and test methods for integrated handle dental floss used in home care, community care, professional oral health care, or dental treatment.
This document applies to the use of handheld integrated handle dental floss. This document does not apply to handle dental floss with sustainable supply of dental floss, or handle dental floss with replaceable dental floss.
This document does not include specific qualitative and quantitative test methods to demonstrate that the product is free from unacceptable biological risks. For the evaluation of such biological risks, see ISO 10993-1 and ISO 7405.
