Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of all types of general-purpose signal generators with a frequency range of 5 kHz to 40 GHz. During the implementation, the verification can be carried out in different frequency bands according to the actual metrological performance of the signal generators being tested.
