HJ 984-2018 Pollution Source Intensity Accounting Technical Guidelines for Electroplating

Scope

This standard applies to the source strength accounting of pollution sources for new (modified or expanded) projects and existing projects in the electroplating industry. This standard applies to the source strength accounting of pollution sources under normal operating conditions in the electroplating industry, but not to the source strength accounting in the event of sudden leaks, fires, explosions, and other accidents. This standard applies to the source strength accounting of pollution sources such as waste gas, wastewater, noise, and solid waste in the electroplating industry, including electroplating, chemical plating, and anodizing processes. Metal pickling, polishing (electrolytic polishing and chemical polishing), chemical oxidation, phosphating, and passivation processes can refer to this standard for implementation. The source strength accounting of wastewater, noise, and solid waste in centralized wastewater treatment plants specifically handling electroplating wastewater can also refer to this standard for implementation. The source strength accounting of the metal coating process on the surface of steel products in the steel rolling industry can refer to the relevant content in HJ885. The source strength of boiler pollutants implementing GB 13271 shall be calculated in accordance with the technical guidelines for the source strength accounting of boiler pollutants.
