GB/T 41485-2022 Nuclear instrumentation—Geophysical borehole instrumentation to determine rock density
Basic Information
Scope
This document applies to geophysical density logging instruments. The instrument mainly consists of the following parts:
——A logging probe tube with a directional radioactive isotope (gamma) source used only during measurement and a detector for measuring scattered gamma rays;
——A cable winch and cable equipped with a depth controller;
——Other related components (power supply, pulse converter/amplifier, rate meter, recorder, signal processing and data reading unit).
This document defines terms, specifies the composition, design and general technical requirements of the equipment, as well as special performance requirements for radiation, electrical, mechanical and environmental aspects. It also includes test and calibration procedures, including electrical safety and radiation protection. In addition, recommendations are made for the relevant content in the manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual (or certificate).
This document aims to provide the design requirements and performance characteristics of logging instruments for in-situ determination of rock density. Through appropriate response relationship curves, rock lithology can be classified and porosity can be calculated.
