Scope

This standard applies to the calculation of pollution sources and source intensities for new (modification and expansion) projects and existing projects in the flat glass manufacturing industry. It applies to the calculation of pollution source intensities under normal and abnormal emission conditions in flat glass manufacturing, but not to the calculation of source intensities in the event of sudden leaks, fires, explosions, and other accidents. It applies to the calculation of pollution source intensities for waste gas, wastewater, noise, and solid waste in the production process of flat glass manufactured using processes such as float glass and rolling, as well as solar cell glass in the electronics glass industry (substrate glass for thin-film solar cells, encapsulation glass for crystalline silicon solar cells, etc.). For boiler pollution source intensities subject to GB 13223, the calculation shall be conducted in accordance with the "Technical Guidelines for Pollution Source Intensity Calculation in Thermal Power Generation" (HJ888); for boiler pollution source intensities subject to GB 13271, the calculation shall be conducted in accordance with the Technical Guidelines for Pollution Source Intensity Calculation of Boilers.
