Scope
Main technical content: (1) Regarding raw materials and auxiliary materials, it stipulates that camellia seeds must meet specific requirements and sets forth storage requirements for them. (2) The fatty acid composition is stricter than that specified in GB/T 11765-2018 "Camellia Seed Oil", to prevent adulteration and fraud in mountain tea oil. (3) Based on the characteristics of Zhejiang mountain tea oil products, indicators for vitamin E, sitosterol, and squalene are established as nutritional claims for Zhejiang mountain tea oil, reflecting the unique characteristics of this product. (4) The physicochemical indicators, such as acid value, are stricter than those specified in GB 2716-2018 "National Food Safety Standard for Vegetable Oil", and additional requirements for trans fatty acids are added. (5) Safety indicators are enhanced based on the characteristics of product packaging and food safety risk analysis, with stricter requirements for plasticizers and antioxidants, as well as increased testing for benzo(a)pyrene and aflatoxin B1 levels.
