HJ 885-2018 Pollution source strength accounting technical guide for iron and steel industry
Basic Information
Scope
This standard applies to the calculation of the source intensity of pollution sources from new (modification, expansion) projects and existing projects in the environmental impact assessment of construction projects in the steel industry. This standard applies to the calculation of the source intensity under normal and abnormal operating conditions in the steel industry, but does not apply to the calculation of the source intensity in the event of sudden leaks, fires, explosions, and other accidents. This standard applies to the calculation of the source intensity of waste gas, wastewater, noise, and solid waste from the main production processes such as sintering/pelletizing, ironmaking, steelmaking, hot rolling, and cold rolling (including pickling and coating), as well as auxiliary production processes such as raw material preparation, oxygen production, and lime production. It does not apply to the production processes of ferrous metal mining and beneficiation, ferroalloy smelting, electroslag furnace smelting, and the production of coke and semi-coke (anthracite). For boilers subject to GB 13223, the source intensity shall be calculated in accordance with HJ 888; for boilers subject to GB 13271, the source intensity shall be calculated in accordance with the "Technical Guidelines for Source Intensity Calculation of Pollution Sources - Boilers".
