Main technical content: This standard specifies the quality requirements for hazelnut kernels, refrigeration technology requirements, storage at room temperature, inspection during storage, removal from storage, sorting, commercial packaging, labeling, and transportation, as well as technical requirements for inspection. This standard applies to the commercial storage of plain hazelnuts (Corylus heterophylla Fisch.) and hybrid hazelnuts (Corylus heterophylla Fisch. × Corylus avellana L.).
