Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection methods, and inspection rules for portable spot welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines).
This standard applies to welding machines powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156—2007 or driven by mechanical equipment, including welding machines used independently and in multi-station configurations.
The resistance welding machine controller (hereinafter referred to as the controller) and the welding machine can be integrated into a single unit or separated into separate devices. However, regardless of the structure adopted, this standard applies to all of them.
Note: This standard does not include requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
