Scope
This document specifies the performance and safety requirements of protective hermetic doors for refuge chambers, including sealing and resistance to explosive impact forces. It describes the corresponding sampling and testing methods, and stipulates the requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. It also provides a product classification for easy use. This document is applicable to protective hermetic doors for refuge chambers in coal mines, as well as those used in non-coal mine refuge chambers.
