Scope

This standard specifies the pre-installation preparation, installation requirements, installation process, and inspection for the lifting devices of self-elevating platforms (hereinafter referred to as "lifting devices").
This standard applies to the installation of gear rack-type lifting devices on triangular and truss-type piles of self-elevating platforms. Installation of other types of lifting devices can be carried out with reference to this standard.
