Scope
This document specifies the monitoring plot layout, monitoring content and methods, monitoring system installation and measurement, result calculation and report preparation, data management, quality control, and archiving requirements for the monitoring of the relative elevation of coastal wetlands. This document is applicable to the monitoring of the relative elevation of coastal wetlands including mangrove forests, coastal salt marshes, seagrass beds, and unvegetated tidal flats on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The monitoring of the relative elevation of other types of coastal wetlands can be referenced for use.
