Scope
This document specifies the method of measuring particulate matter in the exhaust gas of fixed pollution sources using a portable oscillating balance.
This document is applicable to the determination of particulate matter in the exhaust gas of coal-fired, gas-fired, and biomass-fired boilers, as well as in cement kilns, cement mills, and sintering waste gas from steel plants.
This document is applicable to the determination of particulate matter in exhaust gas with a moisture content of less than 20% and a concentration of no more than 100 mg/m3.
