Scope

Scope: This document stipulates the basic requirements for the treatment and utilization of manure water from large-scale dairy farms in Ningxia, including collection and transportation, pretreatment, harmless treatment, storage requirements, detection and safety, and land application. This document applies to the use of manure water from large-scale dairy farms in Ningxia as fertilizer in agricultural fields after harmless treatment. Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Manure water The liquid produced during the process of dairy farming, including feces, urine, leaked drinking water, rinsing water, and manure after dry-wet separation, is collectively referred to as manure water, with a solids content of less than 5%. 3.2 Harmless treatment The process of using high-temperature, anaerobic, and aerobic fermentation technologies to kill pathogens, parasites (eggs), weed seeds in manure water, and remove odor. 4. Basic requirements 4.1 Newly built, expanded, and modified large-scale dairy farms shall implement rainwater and wastewater separation and solid-liquid separation, and build manure and wastewater treatment facilities and equipment that are compatible with the scale of farming. Construction requirements shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 26624. 4.2 The application amount, application time, and application methods of manure water for land application shall comply with agronomic requirements. 5. Collection and transportation 5.1 During dairy farming, it is recommended to adopt a dry-cleaning manure process to reduce pollution emissions. Existing large-scale dairy farms shall gradually improve their manure cleaning processes.
