Scope

This standard specifies all the steps required for accurately measuring the cargo carried on liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport ships, including the measurement of liquid volume, gas volume, temperature, and pressure, as well as the total amount of cargo on the transport ships. This standard describes the application of commonly used measurement systems on LNG transport ships, with the aim of enhancing the common knowledge of all relevant parties and improving measurement procedures during the LNG measurement process. This standard stipulates the general requirements for LNG ship-to-shore trade.
