Scope
This standard provides guidelines for the safety management of microbiological testing laboratories (hereinafter referred to as "laboratories"). This standard applies to the biosafety management of laboratories with a biosafety level of II and below, and meets the requirements for laboratory safety set forth in the "Assessment Criteria for the Qualification Accreditation of Inspection and Testing Institutions" issued by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration. The content of this standard does not involve the construction requirements of laboratories, nor does it address the handling and disposal of infectious waste.
