Scope
This standard specifies the principles and processes, basic requirements, equipment requirements, auxiliary systems, equipment noise, and equipment maintenance requirements of the coaxial (BPRT) technology of gas turbines for recovering waste heat and residual pressure energy from blast furnaces. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, construction, operation, and maintenance of coaxial units driven by electric motors and gas turbines for blowers (axial compressors) in new, modified, and expanded blast furnaces where the gas pressure at the furnace top is not less than 0.08 MPa.
