Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and geometric characteristics of finished silicon nitride cylindrical rollers for rolling bearings, as well as their nominal dimensions and tolerance values.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection, and acceptance of ceramic cylindrical rollers for rolling bearings.
Appendices A and B respectively provide the standard values and grouping principles for roller diameters and roller lengths, and Appendix B also provides the tolerance values for roller lengths.
Appendix C provides examples of roller defect types and inspection methods.
