Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-service inspection of CWE-type, current comparator-type, and electronic/digital high-voltage capacitor bridges for measuring capacitance and dielectric loss factor under 50Hz power supply conditions. The bridge portion of high-voltage dielectric loss testers based on the principle of high-voltage capacitor bridges shall be verified in accordance with this procedure, and the bridge portion combined with high-voltage capacitors shall be calibrated in accordance with Appendix F of this procedure.
This procedure is not applicable to the verification of the bridge portion of high-voltage capacitor bridges used in conjunction with AC bridges for additional purposes.
