Scope
This standard applies to oxidized hydroxypropyl starch, a food additive prepared by reacting edible starch or starch milk obtained from raw materials used to produce edible starch with oxidizing agents and etherifying agents, as well as oxidized hydroxypropyl starch processed by one or more methods such as enzymatic treatment, acid treatment, alkali treatment, and pre-gelatinization treatment.
