This document describes the method for real-time estimation of accident source terms in pressurized water reactors. This document is applicable to the rapid estimation of airborne radioactive release source terms in light water moderated pressure shell type reactor nuclear power plants. This document is not applicable to spent fuel pool accident source terms and source term estimation based on source term monitoring inversion.
