Scope

This document specifies the types and dimensions of straight-shaft reaming drills and Morse taper reaming drills, as well as their tolerances. The document lists two tables for each type of reaming drill: -- Preferred dimensions; -- Dimensions segmented by diameter range. This document only recommends metric dimensions for these reaming drills, and will continue to recommend metric dimensions for them in the future. Unless otherwise specified, these reaming drills are all made with right-hand cutting. This document is applicable to the manufacture of straight-shaft reaming drills and Morse taper reaming drills.
