Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, protection scope, grading, requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for Mao Mountain Changqing Tea, a geographical indication product of agricultural products. This document applies to Mao Mountain Changqing Tea approved and registered by the agricultural department in accordance with the "Administrative Measures for Geographical Indications of Agricultural Products". Main technical content: 6.1 Natural Environment: The climate of Jincheng City is a subtropical monsoon climate with distinct seasons, long winters and summers, and short springs and autumns. The average annual temperature is 15.1°C, with an average annual sunshine duration of 2,116 hours and an average relative humidity of 79%. The average frost-free period is 229 days, and the tea tree growth period lasts 225 to 228 days. The annual rainfall exceeds 1,100 mm. Mao Mountain Changqing Tea is distributed in low mountains, hills, and plateaus, with the main soil parent material being Shu loess, which has a suitable pH and rich mineral elements. The forest coverage rate of 29.19% results in a large amount of organic matter accumulation over the years. 6.2 Cultivation 6.2.1 Tea tree varieties: Clonal hybrid tea trees with medium-sized leaves, such as Longjing Changye and Zhe Nong 113, are recommended. 6.2.2 Cultivation methods: Single-row or double-row planting is adopted. Enough base fertilizer should be applied before planting, mainly organic and compound fertilizers, with a fertilizer depth of 30–40 cm. The distance between the root neck and the soil surface of the tea seedlings should be more than 2 cm, and the roots should not directly contact the fertilizer. 6.3 Fertilization in tea gardens 6.3.1 Base fertilizer: Base fertilizer is applied in autumn, mainly composted organic fertilizer, which is deep-applied in grooves.
