RB/T 016-2019 Evaluation methods and requirements of low carbon products—Copier,printer and duplicator

Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the evaluation of low-carbon products in key stages of the product life cycle, including basic requirements, data collection, calculation methods, evaluation indicators, evaluation values, and carbon emission evaluation reports, for black-and-white or color electrostatic imaging products with a paper size of B5 (including B5) and above, but below A2 (excluding A2), and an output speed of less than 70 pages/minute, such as laser printers, laser fax machines, electrostatic copiers, and digital electrostatic multifunctional all-in-one machines, as well as digital integrated rapid printers with a paper size of B4 (including B4) and above, but below A2 (excluding A2).
This standard applies to the evaluation of carbon emissions in key stages of the product life cycle conducted internally by manufacturers of copiers, printers, and rapid printers, or publicly disclosed by them, and also applies to the evaluation of carbon emission results and the evaluation of low-carbon products by third-party institutions in key stages of the product life cycle.
This standard does not apply to the aforementioned products that are powered solely by data interfaces (such as USB and IEEE 1394 interfaces) or have a digital front-end (DFE). Other office imaging equipment can be used as reference.
