Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the technical terms and definitions, seedling cultivation, seed treatment, transplanting, field management, and harvesting for the cultivation of spring wheat followed by broccoli in the Yinghe Irrigation Area of Ningxia. This standard applies to the Yinghe Irrigation Area of Ningxia. Main technical content: 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document: - "Multiple-cropping after spring wheat harvested" refers to a multi-cropping model that enhances the utilization efficiency of agricultural resources such as light, heat, and land, improves economic benefits, and facilitates the integration of farming and aquaculture following spring wheat harvest, based on regional agricultural production needs and resource characteristics. 4 Site Environment and Soil Selection The soil should be fertile, with a deep and loose topsoil that is conducive to irrigation and drainage. It should meet the requirements of the *Soil Environmental Quality Standards* (GB 15618-2008). 5 Spring Wheat Cultivation 5.1 Variety Selection Select varieties suitable for cultivation in the Yinghe Irrigation Area and harvested before July 15. The seed quality should meet the requirements of the national standard GB 4404.1-2008. 5.2 Spring Wheat Cultivation Techniques Refer to the *High-Yield Cultivation Techniques for Spring Wheat in the Yinghe Irrigation Area of Ningxia* (DB64/T 1060-2015). 6 Broccoli Cultivation 6.1 Seedling Cultivation 6.1.1 Variety Selection Choose high-quality, disease-resistant, high-yielding varieties with a full growth period of around 100 days. The seed quality should meet the requirements of GB 16715.4. 6.1.2 Seed Treatment 6.1.2.1 Soak the seeds in 33°C warm water for 15 minutes while continuously stirring. When the water temperature drops to 20°C, stop stirring and continue soaking in warm water for 4 hours. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. 6.1.2.2 Germination Wrap
