GB/T 33286-2016 China machine-readable catalogue format for bibliographic data

Scope

This standard specifies the standard structure of computer-readable catalogs, including field identifiers, field indicators, and subfield identifiers, as well as the logical and physical formats of bibliographic record content on carriers such as tapes, floppy disks, and CDs.
This standard is applicable to the exchange of bibliographic information in standard computer-readable formats among China's national bibliographic institutions, domestic library and information departments, other literature management departments, and foreign bibliographic institutions, covering monographs, serial resources, mapping and surveying materials, printed music scores, audiovisual products, microforms, electronic resources, ancient books, and archival materials, among other types of literature.
