Scope
Scope: This document stipulates the geographical protection scope, cultivation requirements, quality requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, standards, and packaging and transportation requirements for Phoenix ginger. This document applies to Phoenix ginger that has been approved for registration by the Trademark Office of the China Intellectual Property Administration (formerly the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce) in the 16th Initial Approval Notice of Certification Trademarks and meets the quality requirements of this standard when cultivated in Phoenix County. Main technical content: Variety: The variety of Phoenix ginger is Phoenix Xiaohuang Ginger. Seed selection: The ginger pieces selected should be plump and full, with a shiny skin color, fresh flesh, no shrinkage, and having 1-2 strong buds. The weight of the old ginger used as seeds should be 50g-70g, and it should be free from diseases. Seed treatment: Before sowing, the ginger should be disinfected and then dried for 2-3 days. Germination: When the surface of the ginger seeds becomes shiny, they can be stacked and covered with straw for heat preservation and germination. The temperature should be controlled at 20℃-25℃. When the ginger sprouts reach 1cm in length, they can be sown.
