Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for rare earth silicate phosphors used in LEDs.
This standard applies to rare earth silicate phosphors obtained by high-temperature reaction. These phosphors emit green, yellow-green, yellow, and orange light when excited by ultraviolet and blue light in the range of 250 nm to 500 nm. They can also combine with blue light sources in the range of 440 nm to 500 nm to produce white light of various color temperatures. They are mainly used in LED lamps excited by ultraviolet or blue LED chips.
