Scope
This document specifies the relevant requirements for the investigation, design, construction, acceptance, and operation management of shallow ground source heat pump systems. This document applies to new construction, renovation, and expansion projects that use shallow geological formations, groundwater, and treated wastewater as low-temperature heat sources, and water or water solutions with antifreeze additives as heat transfer media.
