Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, test items and methods, test conclusions, and test reports for the energy efficiency testing of in-use gas-fired industrial boilers. This document is applicable to the energy efficiency testing of in-use gas boilers with a rated working pressure of more than 0.1 MPa and less than 3.8 MPa, but it is not applicable to the energy efficiency testing of boilers that burn gas fuels. The energy efficiency testing of boilers after relocation, modification, or major repairs shall be conducted in accordance with this document. The energy efficiency testing of atmospheric hot water boilers can be carried out with reference to this document.
