Scope
Scope: This document specifies the preparation, land leveling, and planting of tomatoes in greenhouses. This document is applicable to the land leveling and planting processes of tomato production in greenhouses. Main technical content: 4. Land preparation before planting - Clean the greenhouse and remove residual crops and weeds. - Remove unused farming tools and miscellaneous items from the greenhouse. 4.2.1 Treatment of greenhouses with mild soil-borne diseases - See Appendix A for the treatment of greenhouses with mild soil-borne diseases in autumn-winter and winter-spring seasons, as well as late autumn-early spring seasons in northern China. - See Appendix B for the treatment of greenhouses with mild soil-borne diseases in spring-early summer seasons and early spring seasons in northern China. - See Appendix C for the treatment of greenhouses with severe soil-borne diseases. Soil moisture: The soil moisture should reach 45-55% before land preparation. 4. Fertilization 4.4.1 For soils with organic matter content > 2%, apply 200-300 kg of commercial organic fertilizer per mu; for soils with organic matter content < 2%, apply 600-800 kg of commercial organic fertilizer per mu, ensuring the quality of the fertilizer meets the requirements of NY 525. 4.4.2 Apply 100-200 kg of microbial fertilizer per mu, which should meet the requirements of GB 20287. 4.4.3 Apply 40-50 kg of three-element balanced compound fertilizer and 20 kg of medium-element fertilizer (Ca, Mg, S), ensuring the quality of the fertilizer meets the requirements of NY/T 496. 5. Land leveling - Deep till and plow the soil to 25-35 cm. - Build high ridges 70-80 cm wide, with a ridge face width of 65-70 cm and a ridge trench width of 80-90 cm, with a ridge height of 15-20 cm (see Figure 1). - Plant double rows on the high ridges. - Build flat ridges 70-90 cm wide and plant double rows within them. - Dig shallow trenches with narrow rows 80-90 cm wide and narrow rows
