Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions of right-angle valves so that they can match the installation dimensions of elbow pipes specified in GB/T 16709.1 and GB/T 16709.2.
All right-angle valves included in this standard are equipped with flanges specified in GB/T 16709.1, GB/T 16709.2, and ISO 3669.
ISO 3669 lists two series of flanges:
——The preferred series;
——The secondary series.
This standard only covers valves equipped with flanges from the secondary series.
