Scope

This document specifies the operation and maintenance procedures and technical requirements for the monitoring and protection of small hydropower units and the operation and maintenance of DC systems. This document is applicable to small hydropower units with a rated power of 0.5MW to 10MW and a rated frequency of 50Hz. For small hydropower units with a power range of 0.1MW to 0.5MW or a frequency of 60Hz, the monitoring and protection of these units and the operation and maintenance of DC systems can be implemented with reference to this document.
